Jo Macaldo-Crowl is a New York-raised and New Orleans-based actor, aerialist/dancer, and producer. She produced Suites by Sondheim at Lincoln Center featuring Tony Award winner Lea Salonga. Along with 5th Wall Studio in NY, she co-produced Breaking Surface, a flying acrobatic adventure over a flooded stage.

Trained in Practical Aesthetics for both contemporary and classical text, she graduated with a focus of study in Dramatic Arts at Harvard University.

She is also a trained dancer (specializing in contemporary and commercial jazz) as well as harness, hammock, and hoop for aerial work.
